	DRINKING WATER AND SANITATION DIVISION

Objective of the Department

To facilitate drinking water (mainly) in the rural areas as well as in urban areas (with the help of urban development department).

Total Sanitation campaign (TSC) is also going on in the district with the help of Govt. of India to facilitate sanitation facilities in rural areas.

Schemes under implementations

a. Reorganisation of Hazaribag town water supply scheme,
b. Reorganisation of Barhi water supply scheme,
c. Reorganisation of Padma Saraya rural water supply scheme,
d. Kariyatpur rural water supply scheme (Water Tower Scheme)
e. Reorganisation of Bishnugarh rural water supply scheme,
f. Charhi rural water supply scheme.
